Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation
The Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation (CCER) is dedicated to increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities by providing specialized rehabilitation training and technical assistance in the Pacific NW and beyond.
CCER is part of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington and collaborates with the U.W. Center on Technology and Disability Studies in the Center for Human Development and Disability.
CCER's current projects include TACE Northwest, ADA Center Northwest, Rehabilitation Leadership and a variety of training programs, technical assistance, and consultation aimed at enhancing the employment of individuals with disabilities.
The TACE is one of ten regional Technical Assistance and Continuing Education Centers funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) to provide training and technical assistance to state Vocational Rehabilitation agencies and their partners.
Through the ADA Center Northwest, CCER also provides information, training, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The staff at CCER are committed to offering quality services responsive to the current needs of our customers.
